College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Mount Kisco

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Hiring College Hunks was one of the biggest mistakes we’ve ever made. The movers showed up with no regard for our furniture, they didn’t bother to wrap or protect a single item, and the results were disastrous. They completely broke our bed and then dropped our custom-made couch, leaving a noticeable chip in it. On top of that, instead of taking the time to properly disassemble the furniture (after confirming that they do this), they chose to brute force everything through tiny hallways, manhandling pieces in a way that caused additional dents and wall damage. Because of this, we even had to hire a contractor to patch and repair walls, a requirement when moving out of our previous place, adding more stress and expense to an already terrible experience.

Horrific and heartbreaking experience that the company refuses to remedy. We spent 30 mins on a consultation call with them answering many detailed questions so we thought they would show up prepared for the job- they did not. They showed up in hoodies in the middle of NY winter with no protective gear. Watched them almost get injured multiple times. The main reason they were hired was to move two very heavy concrete statues- they were my grandfathers and he is no longer with us, so they were very dear to the entire family. They loaded them into the truck- upon delivery they decided it would take too much time to put the ramp out despite us telling them to use it. They dropped BOTH statues, shattering them. The second one almost injured my mother and appeared to injure one of their workers

Top notch every step of the way with this company. It began with the person who took my info on the phone, to the owners themselves who worked out the details of my move with me and last but certainly not least the movers themselves. They were quick, courteous, professional, detail oriented and just very pleasant in general. They made the move ( which was a very stressful situation in and of itself, long story for another time) and absolute joy. The company was also by far the most reasonable I found. They even broke timing down to 15 minute increments after the initial minimum was met.Thank you to all! Highly highly recommend them. Richard

Booked a last minute service for an eviction that I needed help with. Adam booked my service not even 24 hours in advance. I was very thankful for the help as I was stuck and had not many other options except a place that wanted a disgusting amount of money for a “squeeze in fee”. College Hunks moving showed up on time even though the weather was bad and handled the Job. A different Adam and a guy Ethan showed up. Very polite and willing to work. This business was very affordable and would recommend to any one trying to arrange a move, eviction, etc. Thank you again.

My hunks Eli and Larry from the Peekskill office were clearly experienced, made the move run smoothly and on time. They wrapped the furniture securely in quilts and moved big bulky items without scratching or touching the walls. When we got to the apartment they placed the furniture in the right places and even helped move unwanted pieces out. They were incredibly polite to all people they came across and were a pleasure to work with. The job came in under estimate. Would recommend this team highly.
