This company should seriously consider renaming themselves “Chase Electrical” — because that’s exactly what you’ll spend your time doing. After scheduling the appointment, they showed up nowhere near the promised time. Did anyone bother to call and say they were running late? Of course not. I had to track them down myself. When the job was only about one-third finished, I had to chase them again just to get them to submit the permit paperwork. From there, I ended up dealing directly with the permit office to arrange the inspection — something they should have handled. The inspector was even surprised the company wasn’t present. We worked with Colonial on a house we had recently purchased and would recommend them, and use them again. Colonial installed a new line from the electric panel to a new fireplace insert to the electric panel, which necessitated running through the ceiling of the entire finished basement, and some outside work. Additionally, they ran a new dedicated line and inside switch to an outside sensor light. The two electricians were very competent, courteous and efficient and cleaned up the work areas well. One month later we needed some outside lights installed and changed, so we called Colonial. They did a great job, consistent with our experience during their prior work with us. We recommend them.

Great electricians. Installed heavy dining room light and removed old chandelier, installing it elsewhere. Expert professionals, respectful of property, fast responsive scheduling.
