Fortunately I had no bad experiences like some other users did. Arrived at 6am on a Saturday and tons of open spots at that time. My car was not vandalized during the 5 hours it was parked. I will say trying to get out is like a rat maze and some tight corners taking my sedan through. Also could not find the pedestrian exit so just used the car ramp. Other than that, fine experience.

I’ve parked at Colonial Parking at 801 I St NW (Tech World garage) several times a week for years because I go to Equinox. Always validate, always pay $5. Today, for the first time ever, I lost my ticket. Explained it to the manager — didn’t matter. He was rude and still charged me the full $48. I know the rules, but any decent business shows discretion for loyal customers. Not here. Zero flexibility, zero customer service.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but when thing are wrong they are wrong. It was almost impossible to get out of the garage after arriving fory 10pm reservation No signage on how to get put, the place is huge and deserted, the color coding of the parking is pointless. I relied on a kind stranger who was on her way out from her office job and offered to drive me out of the garage (Thank you Christine💕) 👎🏾. This is literally the worst parking garage I’ve ever seen in my entire life. First of all, all but one exit to the parking garage was locked. And I mean, pedestrian exits, there’s at least five or six elevators to get you out of the parking garage. There was a sign stating that the red elevators were broken, and you had to use the purple elevators, however, the purple elevators, and the blue elevators were all locked further, the stairs by the red elevators did not even exit out into the lobby and we’re locked on every floor. So we had to walk around for half an hour until eventually someone told us that there was only one elevator working. It was the yellow elevator that went into the hotel lobby and we could exit from there. Once we return to the car and try to exit the facility, of co

A million different issues including the fact that there are several elevator lobbies, but you can't actually get into any of them. Never park here.
