Colonial Parking

This was our first time visiting Georgetown, and it was crowded, but this was a great parking location because it was close to the canal, the shopping district, and the riverfront. The price wasn't that bad either. There weren't too many levels, but we didn't see an elevator.

Booked a parking spot online and made payment toward colonial parking, but when I showed cashier my reservation confirmation, he simply claims such payment is invalid and insists on us to pay extra parking fee for the 2nd time. Probably the cashier could deduct a percentage from what he collects. Feeling the overall management of this company is totally in a mess.

Parking garage had instructions to pay before leaving and enter garage on east side of building. Doors were locked with signs to go to West side of building, upon approaching, was told to go to the east side of the building. Security stated they weren't sure where to enter garage. Ended up walking down the parking ramp into the garage, only to be confronted and asked to use West side of building. After a brief explanation, got out, and won't make the mistake again :)

Not many people here, but $13 for all day isn't amazing. Also if you follow their signs and exit on the mezzanine floor, you can't come back in that way after the "building closes" at 5 or 6pm. The security guard on the mezzanine floor was about to ignore us after saying they closed, but eventually let us back in instead of walking 2 blocks on the rain to walk down the car entrance/exit. An expensive hassle.

Colonial parking is it safe and nice place to park your vehicle anytime night or day good people Curtis service and worker's have respectable attitude all around DC Maryland Virginia and it's a nice place to work the manager of supervisors I'm very nice people to work with and work for
