Colorado Soils

Richard is great. Considerate too. Let me know when he would be at Colorado Soils to load up our truck with compost. And it's really good compost. I left a message the first time I called and then called again the next day. And got compost. But he didn't realize that, and called a few days later asking if he had missed my call. I didn't take pictures of the soil place, because both times we went to pick up compost, the wind picked up too and there was no time as we were holding the tarp down and trying not to be covered in blowing compost. However, I did take some pictures of the compost at home and one of my helpers.

Great company to work with, very responsive. Knew exactly what we needed to make our yard look perfect, without having too much added expense. Just added water!

Bought 15 cu yards of amended topsoil, delivered, for our yard makeover project of removing/replacing 1500 sq ft of 40+ yr old decrepit lava rock and river stone with sod. The topsoil is high quality, dark, and perfect to spread out 4 inches deep and prep for sod install and to thrive on for years to come! Highly recommend, and also use Green Hills sod in Mead, you can't go wrong!!

Absolutely amazing!!!! Richard was an amazing help with our project. Unfortunately we won’t have materials delivered until summer due to our weather situation. However Richard was on the ball ready to answer any questions I had. He was so extremely knowledgeable in the different soils, aggregates, materials, and all of their uses and capabilities. I called all over to so many different places that said they couldn’t help me or didn’t know what I was talking about. His experience with other horse properties provided me with the best solutions to my problems. What an absolute blessing to have talked with someone who knows their stuff. I will 1000% be using this company for any further projects!!!!

Richard was responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a little bit of a weather setback with pits flooding due to overnight rain but he was still able to stick it out and deliver all of my roadbase in a day and it took 6 loads! He arrived with very good quality product and was very courteous and professional. Thanks Richard!
