Commercial Algoma Heating

I needed a nozzle for my grandma’s furnace, and Commercial Algoma Heating absolutely came through for me. I called first thing at 8:00 AM on Monday, and the receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful. She went out of her way to track down the last nozzle they had in stock, which happened to be on one of their technician’s trucks. Huge lifesaver. When I went in to pay, Carol helped me out and she was amazing — super friendly, knowledgeable, and just genuinely great to talk to. We even got chatting about Finland, Norway, and our shared heritage, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend these guys. Great people, great service, and they truly care about helping their customers.

Called Jeff out of the blue for parts for my furnace. He gave me advice and info over the phone without spending a dime. He even offer a visit if I couldn’t get my furnace going. Ended up getting my furnace going with no parts purchased. Thank you for your advice Jeff. Good old fashion service can’t be beat.

The owner is unprofessional and rude, wanted a quote to have a basic furnace cleaning and couldn't even provide an idea. Claimed that our furnace was probably put in as a sketchy jo since i was not having the company that installed it having them service it. ( Company was booked up, probably servicing furnaces that this guy no longer has as customers)Orignally i reached out the them to get a quote to have the furnace i wai wanted to service put in / it took them 2 weeks never came out to my house and wanted to charge 2000 alone to remove an oil tank from the back yard that was empty. Therefore i had the furnace put in by one of there competitors for 3500 less. i thought i would try to support local business and give them a shot again. wont make that mistake again. i will share my experi

We have a service plan with COOP Farm Store Echo Bay, Algoma Heating is the business who does the service and most everyone down the line that have had to use the plan have recommended them. Myself it's my first experience with using them and they have been great at answering the phone to setting up the call out. Thank You Algoma Heating for caring about us when we're in the cold!

Problem was not rectified, on top left a mess. And complained about missing a hockey game Billed 2mths later for 300+ $. Called owner to discuss problem after receiving bill. Owner proceeded to lose his cool on the phone, to the point I literally had to hang up. Very unprofessional!!! Makes me sad for the Algoma District
