Working with Jason and Kelly Eaton was an absolute pleasure. They helped us build our dream home starting with a bare piece of land through to the last bit of finish work. Our experience working with Kelly and Jason was amazing from start to finish. From the very beginning they were so thoughtful and thorough with the planning and design process and really dedicated to designing/building us a home that truly worked for us and we would love. The construction process was also so smooth and they were open with communication the whole way through. All of their subcontractors were great too and everything was coordinated so well. They were right on with the budget and timeline, which is something that you never hear! In the end our family ended up with the our dream house and we had the pleasure of working with some truly kind and genuine humans along the way. I was lucky to work with Conscious Construction on building a new cottage and the landscaping of my multi-family rental property. Jason and Kelly took the time to site the new cottage in a manner that complemented the rest of the rentals and overall property. Before and during construction they guided me on design decisions, offering alternatives that kept the project in budget but ensured the final project exceeded expectations. They were generous with their time and did everything they could to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Their rate was quite reasonable for such a custom job, and they went out of their way to save us money any way they could. I'm very happy with the result and process. Jason and his crew built a garage with office space in our backyard this year and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! They managed to timelines and budget, listened to us and adjusted the design to meet our needs, explained options and their budget impact clearly, kept the backyard tidy while building, finished with great landscaping and the end result has transformed our space. As icing on the top, the crews they used were all highly skilled and really pleasant to have around. A retired neighbor even commented that if he goes back to work ever, he wants to work with Conscious Construction because every time he walked by they were having fun and building faster than he had seen.
