After many years as a customer I have now switched to another supplier. What made me switch was a combination of things. First off they let go of all Tech support as of this year. Then the office staff became a staff of one. A family member. I admit that I have fallen behind in prompt payments but have always paid my balance, which is almost 10k a season, to zero. And I always paid the interest as stated on their invoices. This season I agreed to a fixed payment plan per month only to have my plan over ridden by another Staff member. I totally understand that their supplier needs to be paid a lot faster than in years gone by otherwise they too would be cut off. This is a sign of these high priced fossil fuel times. If I could leave zero stars, I would. After being a client for 17 years, I called for my yearly delivery. It took 3 phone calls and an email message to even get a return call. The woman who called me was was extremely rude. Told me my account was "inactive" because I haven't had oil delivered in a year (it's been 14 months!!) And they will not reopen my account. I try to have a conversation with her about the longevity of my account, etc. She then interrupts me abruptly and said "you can plead your case all you want but you'll have to find a new supplier. Have a great day." And hung up on me. This is absolutely disgusting frim a once respected business. Don't bother dealing with them.

Amazing service!!! I am on automatic refill and noticed that my tank was almost empty. It turns out that Conti's had been trying to reach me during the summer to let me know that, according to state law, my tank needed to be inspected before delivery could be made. My landline was out of service for most of the summer, so they were unable to reach me. One evening, I called and left them a message, explaining that my tank was almost empty and asking them to call me when they opened so I could schedule a delivery. Chris called me back the next morning, and she was so kind and helpful. She explained why I hadn't received a delivery and offered to send an inspector out that same morning. Sharing my own frustrations with Conti. I've been a customer for nearly 10 years and have had several minor frustrations, but also some moments of gratitude - a mixed bag. However a month after sending me this year's pre-buy contract and after a phone conversation confirming they received it, they phoned to tell me they would not continue deliveries to me and provided a list of seriously unflattering excuses; the upshot is they are scaling back their delivery zone and have trouble recruiting and keeping employees. They plan to refund me the sum I spent to pre-buy, we'll see.

Have used Conti Oil on and off over the years through pre-buy user group, Had a credit of money left over from last year and switching to another home oil heating due to a lot better price per gal. The Lady service Rep on the phone is very rude with min knowledge on how to service it's customers in a useful and friendly manner. need to figure out how much credit I had from previous season plus how much more I needed to purchase to meet their min req of 125 gals for a delivery ( most fuel co require the 125 gals to make a delivery). I gave her my credit card info to make up the difference between my credit and what needed to be covered for the rest. I was told that I would have a next day delivery, but still waiting, so far a no show. Like others Conti Oils needs to get a phone Service Rep
