10/10 do not recommend. First, someone was sent out from a contractor company. I believe the company that responded was Andy’s appliance. After paying $148 diagnostic fee, I was told the ignitor was bad on my gas stove. I was quoted $600 to replace it. The stove was only about $700 new. I sent the guy on his way because it was more logical to replace the oven. After watching a 15 minute YouTube video, purchasing the part, the next day we spent 30 minutes replacing the part ourselves. The genuine part was $60 and the after market was $20, both with next day delivery for free. $540 in labor for a 30 minute job is outrageous. This is not a local company. The phone number leads you to a call center for Sears, then they send out a technician from a ”partner” company. If you’re looking for a local repair person, don’t call Council Bluffs Appliance Repair.

It was great working with Archie from Council Bluffs Appliance Repair. He performed an excellent job when he came out to fix our washing machine. Extremely competent, and the cost was reasonable. I heartily endorse them!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - PLEASE READ: I contacted CBAR and they provided me a "contractor" from their listing. He (D. Moore) came over and found the issue charged me the money ($305) and was supposed to be back in 3 days. No call no show, No call no show, Answered said the parts didn't come in, no call no show, no answer to texts and this went on for 2 weeks. He finally called back and said he would come over and he finally did. Replaced the parts, as far as I know and left. For one week all was well, when the issue happened again. I immediately called him and he told be he would be over on Saturday from 1-3. Guess what, No call no show, text no text back, During the next week same thing no call now show, text without texting back. Called today and he phone goes to a voic

Robert was a very nice and knowledgeable person. He knew exactly what was wrong with my dryer. He had to wait for a couple days for parts and ordered a few extra in case he needed them but luckily he was able to use some of the original parts which saved me some money. I will gladly call and have ASAP come back and repair my appliances again.
