Countertops and Cabinetry By Design

We just had our alcove bathtub replaced with a walk-in Corian shower installed by Countertops and Cabinets by Design. CAC by Design was recommended by the Corian vendor, Ohio Valley Supply, as the best contractor in the area to do our Corian shower project. Jessica, a Kitchen and Bath Designer at CAC by Design, understood this shower renovation was the only tub/shower in our 1950s ranch style house, so they worked with us to schedule it in a 5-day window. Years later having moved and in need of some cabinet repair I called them again and they had helpful suggestions for do-it-myself prep work to save me some $$$ and their tech finished up the repairs in one visit. We have used countertops and cabinets by design 3 times. The end product was perfect. The only reason I rated our experience as a 4 is because of snafoos with measuring and installation. When the counters were delivered for installation, the area around the stove and sink were not measured correctly and, thankfully, were able to be recut from available matching slabs and installed the same day. The install crew stayed over to make it right. Some damage to our hardwood floors occurred when old rotted counter was removed but repaired in a fairly reasonable amount of time. I worked with Designer Carissa Palazzolo who was awesome every step of the way and even making sure the snafoos were addressed.
