Country Chimney Services

Living in an house dating to 1887 comes with it's challenges. I don't write reviews unless service was quite bad or excellent. Working with George has been nothing short of exceptional. It's evident his years of experience brings the expertise necessary to avoid issues down the road. He carefully explains 'the why' behind his repairs which completely make sense, once understood. Our furnace chimney had a prior poor chimney liner install. The patch job was not correct and falling apart, making the chimney inefficient and costing us money.. A very sooty looking guy showed up at my request to assess possible chimney work. His very junior assistant unloaded the ladder while I showed the sooty guy around. Then he climbed up to the roof, took lots of pictures and came down with a diagnosis. He showed me the pictures on his phone while the kid put the ladder away. Then he started writing something on his notepad and handed me a bill for $115 for his visit. Surprised, I said, I didn't call you for a house call, I need a chimney repair. How do I know I'll ever even see you again? He just responded that he doesn't offer free estimates. I, replied that he should have told me that before coming. In the end I paid him saying that I wanted the work done and that I didn't want to start off on the wrong foot. I asked if he could sh

The absolute worst customer service. Unprofessional and unresponsive. I would not recommend this company.
