I had a great experience having John Kearns and Countryside repaint the exterior of our Somerville three-story. The pricing was clear and they checked about any additions beforehand. They kept the yard clean, with no smoking/music, and thorough site protection from lead while scraping. John painted a number of samples of our red siding colors on the house so we could find the match we liked, and also took care of matching the cream and blue colors. He and the crew also made some recommendations (like painting the downspouts and adjusting the deck color to match the rest of the house better), but didn't press if I decided differently. Countryside, headed by John Kearns, did a terrific job on the exterior of the big old Victorian in which I have a condo. It involved working with all six owners in the building, balancing special requests and many questions. His workers were quiet, professional, and hard-working.
