Jim fixed my basement in the summer of 2017. He found me a good value solution. My basement is a series of dirt floor crawl spaces with a stone foundation. I had no idea what to do with it. I called Jim and badger basements for quotes. Badger Basements said they could come give me an estimate in a month, Jim came over within days. He gave me a quote that was close to what I expected. I wanted to wait for badger basements to come take a look but I ended up giving Jim the job. I did feel a little rushed but I assumed that I couldn't afford Badger basements. After all, I could barely afford Jim's quote. Jim's solution was to put down a thick vapor barrier (22mm) that covered the floor and went up the walls in each crawlspace. Definitely NOT recommended! 1 star is too high - but required to complete this post. Beware of: - cheap bids with ovlerly short time estimates to make the sale. - rushed into making a quick decision (thus circumventing time to do proper research) - extremely brief contract detail with no mention of completion time & only the briefest of detail of what was verbally agreed to (to minimize lawsuits). - most agreed to yet undocumented on the contract items not done - some of the detail of the documented work was also not done (eg attaching the wall liner to the wall) - supposedly due to the hardware not being available. Yet when provided with available access despite promises to the contrary, again never showed up to complete the job. - No written warranty - because there is none - despite

Very Poor Ethics. This Man will Rip You Off! Does poor work and can not make his appointments. Can not even pay his help so they keep quitting on him. Would not recommend to anyone! Don't waste your time or money. Want to know more feel free to message me about my personal experience.

Reading the review below I'm actually glad now that this guy strung me along for 2 weeks then promised he would come today- and was a complete no- show. Extremely unprofessional, and sleezy- I can't even imagine what our experience would have been like.
