CRD Design Build

Back in 2023, My wife and I hired CRD for a whole-house remodel and construction of a two-story addition. From our initial consultation, we were impressed with their deep knowledge and can-do attitude. The initial proposal laid out a rough timeline for architecture and design, as well as a ballpark cost estimate. As we worked with their designer and architect, we opted to increase the overall scope of the project, which increased the overall cost, but the team was very up-front about cost or timeline changes at every step of the design process, and it felt like the ball was always in our court to make the final call. Our design team was super proactive, scheduling weekly meetings with us, arranging in-person showroom visits and guiding us through every last detail of picking out flooring,

CRD was a great company to work with during the remodel of our basement. The subcontractors were extremely skilled and the main carpenter we worked with, Blake, became like part of our family. Even the dog liked him. Highly recommend.

It is coming up on 3 years since my remodel was completed, and not one day goes by without me feeling grateful for the wonderful transformation CRD performed on my mid-last-century home. From the first presentation by Leslie on the very well-thought-through and sensible steps to working with CRD, through the design and fixed price calculation, the planning process was as good as it ever gets with something as stressful as thinking about remodelling in a house that had had almost nothing done to it since it was purchased in 1990. And then, the remodelling phase was amazing. I had the best designer and contractor team: down-to-earth people who were able to guide me calmly through the 5-6 month process. We cannot say enough good things about CRD! We went through a kitchen and basement remodel during my third trimester with our second baby. The CRD design team was excellent, Amy and Lizzie recognized my vision and brought it to life with amazing recommendations to add additional character and function to our home! Jason and Derek ran our project incredibly well even finishing 1 WEEK EARLY! Unheard of in construction and much appreciated so we could come home from the hospital to a fully finished house. Truly amazing and we will use them for all of our home projects going forward!!

I cannot speak highly enough about CRD. From the design phase to the finished product, the team was on time, professional, communicative, and had absolutely perfect execution of our kitchen remodel and redesign of the whole main floor of our home. We loved working with Megan as our designer- she totally got us and our design aesthetic. the computer program they used at the time really helped us envision what the space would look like since we were tearing down walls (with 3D virtual reality even!). She thought of everything. We did not feel decision fatigue, she walked us through each piece in bite sized pieces. She was so fun!
