Custom Design and Build

It was a pleasure working with Mark, Viola, and the entire team. All phases of the project from the initial phone contact to project completion were executed professionally and timely. We started with a wooden deck and screened enclosure that was rarely used and ended up with a beautiful composite deck and sunroom that we enjoy daily. We greatly appreciate the skilled craftsmen and specialty tradesmen bought into the project to ensure the final result not only met Mark’s expectation but more importantly ours. We now have an additional living space to enjoy for years to come!

Mark and his team were incredibly professional and easy to work with. It was clear from the initial consult in the way the process was described in detail that his team was going to do a great job. They arrived the day they were scheduled, worked well into evenings and got the job done on budget and a day earlier. Not only were we thrilled with our new deck and stairs, but they left the patio below the elevated deck cleaner than they found it. Could not recommend Mark and Custom Design and Build LLC highly enough.

The entire process, from quote to finish was easy, professional, and thorough. Mark was extremely personal and kind, walking us through the process and what to expect. Communication was excellent and clear. The crews for both our patio and fence were timely, professional, respectful, and friendly. They did excellent work and we are so happy with everything! We will definitely be repeat customers for future projects and will refer!

Mark and his crew designed and built the deck of our dreams. It surpassed all expectations. Their attention to detail is borderline obsessive. Their expertise and knowledge shows in every screw covering. When my rented solar panels posed no problem to Mark, I knew he was the contractor I needed. He “knew a guy”. In fact, he “knows a lot of guys”— all experts at what they do, whether it be roofing, electric, fireplace installation, landscaping, etc. The deck you see in the photos was mostly completed in 2 weeks, ahead of schedule. I was always well informed on the project timeline and status. The crew was friendly, neat, clean and trustworthy. Mostly, they appeared to love what they do. I just can’t recommend them enough. Mark Szabo and crews did a fantastic job on a large multi-part project. All issues, communication, follow up and fit/finish were outstanding. The final product is beautiful and we get many compliments. The handiwork was top notch and the company details: (billing, followup, permits, etc were excellent, Custom Design and Build does a thorough and meticulous job. Pictures are in progress and finished for the deck and fence. A fairly large project handled professionally. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
