After living in our house for almost 20 years, we decided to finally redo our flooring. We had the old Bruce hardwood floors with the orange tint that was in many homes at that time. Working with Chris at Custom Floor and Design, we picked out a beautiful Engineered Hardwood wide plank flooring and a plan to refinish our stairs in a dark cocoa stain with new black aluminum balusters and a new runner. It was a complicated project with many moving parts, but each crew did an incredible job and Chris was always available when we had a question or issue arise. We priced out a few places and felt they were by far the best in terms of price, responsiveness, quality, and detail. Chris was awesome. Wish we took more before pictures but the final product is outstanding! Highly recommend.

Chris was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of selecting a stair runner —knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with.
