Dan's Carpet and Blinds

If you are looking for flooring, look no further than Dans' carpet and blinds. We recently had our basement carpeted back in July of 2025 and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. The owner, Dan, was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose a durable, carpet that works perfectly for a basement setting. We needed a carpet that would be able to hold our rugs on top, so Dan sugested a low profile carpet. I was really hoping to get it installed withing a few days as we were planning an event on the weekend, Dan the man came through. The next day he had a team and an install date for the following day. The installation was seamless—the team arrived on time and did a beautiful job around the corners and stairs. It’s rare to find this level of customer service these days.

In the past when searching for rug replacement my wife and I would find ourselves at a chain store. One night on her way home from work my wife noticed Dan’s Carpet and Blinds on Mamaroneck Av. The first thing you notice when entering the establishment is the array of samples for you to look thru. After awhile we were greeted by a smiling face willing to answer questions and give advice. Dan and Martina made this sometime arduous experience very relaxed and comfortable. After choosing a few possibilities we were schooled on what would and what would not work for our application due to the weave of the possible choices. We worked with Dan several years ago to purchase and install blinds throughout our home, including custom master bedroom blinds and remote blinds in several rooms. Recently, due to normal wear, one set in the master bedroom needed to be replaced. Dan was incredibly diligent in tracking down the correct match, even though the original brand color had since been discontinued. He worked efficiently to find the best solution, ordered the replacement, and handled the installation in a very timely manner. As an added bonus, when we mentioned that one of our wall-to-wall rugs had started to ripple slightly, Dan immediately took care of it. Within just a few days, a member of his team was at the house, fixed the issue completely, and did so quickly and efficiently. Dan is responsive, detail-orient

They knew I was in the middle of a move and made a special effort to get the carpet installed earlier, which I truly appreciated. Dan’s Carpet and Blinds did a great job installing curtains and blinds in our house. I never realized how much blinds can add to a room. It made our family room look much more contemporary. Not only were we highly satisfied with the finished product, we loved working with Dan. The second time we met him, he remembered both my kids names. That really stuck out. It showed a lot about his warm character and that we were more than just a number. Dan also came over after everything was installed to ensure it was done correctly.
