Davenport & Valley Insulation

Davenport & Valley Insulation installed gutters on our newly constructed home and also a garage door. The gutters and downspouts were not adequate in size to handle the square footage of the roof. One of the downspouts was placed on the corner of the house, diverting the water down the driveway, and posing a risk to create black ice during the colder nights. When we contacted Davenport to correct the situation, the designer (Cory) was belligerent, arguing that he wouldn't change a thing. We also contacted the main office and the corporate office without a return call. Shameful. Davenport & Valley Insulation = poor business practices and poor workmanship. Davenport has been a horrendous company to work with. Purchased a house in August of last year and asked them to encapsulate the crawlspace as this is something they claimed they did. Not only did they not encapsulate it at all (you guys might want to google what that word actually means) they actually used some of the most cheap garbage materials they could. Insulation looks terrible, vapor barrier looks terrible, trash left all over yard and crawlspace, they even ripped an electrical line from the side of the house (it was a phone line we were gonna get rid of, thanks for making it impossible to find where it was mounted to!). And the work they did? They wrapped over random pieces of siding the previous homeowner had in the crawlspace that we didn’t even know about, tons of it as well. W

We had this company spray foam insulation in our basement where moisture was a problem. Since that time we've had a dry and moisture free room. We are grateful for their work.

My gutters that were installed by Davenport in 2020 fell in July. The estimator came out quickly, but it was a month until the scheduler finally called to set up my repair. When the repair man came he discovered what the estimator missed. My faulty gutters caused the fascia boards to rot and part of the roof plywood too. So now I have a big expensive repair to do, Davenport won't cover any of it, and worst of all is the wasted month I waited around thinking my problem was handled. Never again with these people.

We scheduled an appointment to have our garage door serviced for between12:00 noon and 4:00 pm on a Tuesday. They indicated they would call and let me know what time they would be here. I never received a call and they never showed up! I also left a message with their service manage at 3:00 pm and never received a call back. I should have looked at their reviews first, this is pretty typical of their service. I would not recommend Davenport for anything!!
