Green Valley Moving

We were more than happy with Green Valley and how they handled our move. They employ the kindest and most efficient, professional workers!. It was a pleasure to work with ALL of them. Scott was excellent at leading and organizing, and they were all so flexible and accommodating. They even met our desire to get into our new home before the holiday, despite their very full schedules. All of that on top of the fact that their fees were about half of other companies we priced. We HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you so much for making a stressful time feel so much easier and pleasant!

Do NOT using Green Valley Moving. They are penny pinchers. They recently moved my mom's belongings (full size bed and mattress, couple of nightstands, dresser, and two recliners) last month in Harrisonburg from Bellaire at Stone Port to English Meadows. Per Apple Maps, both of these facilities are less than 8 miles to Green Valley Moving with a drive time of 15 minutes each way. The two facilities are 2 miles apart with a drive time of 5 minutes. The movers showed up at Bellaire at 8:30am to begin the move and left English Meadows after the move at 9:45am. They took a 15 minute pit stop between the two places (left Bellaire at 8:50am and showed up at English Meadows at 9:10am). I should also note they were actually finished up with the unpack/move by 9:35am but took about 10 minutes

Greenvalley movers did our move this week. They were absolutely terrific! The gentlemen were so courteous and were very conscientious! The estimated time to move us was 7 to 8 hours. They did it in 5 hours with care and effectiveness. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great moving company.

I can’t overemphasize how pleased we were with Green Valley Moving. Greg gave us the best price of four local companies. The crew, Nathan, Michael and Dakota arrived exactly on time, expertly handled everything and had all of our furniture and about ninety boxes loaded and ready to roll out by noon. When we arrived at our new home they offloaded everything quickly and without a scratch or a single broken item. I enthusiastically recommend them without hesitation! In fact I did recommend Green Valley Moving to my brothers family when they made a recent move and he was just as pleased as I am! Great job Greg and crew!

My family and I chose Green Valley Moving to move my grandma from Staunton to Richmond and the end result was extremely disappointing. The movers stacked all of the boxes across the opening from the dining room to living room (nothing in bedrooms or the other living space) so we couldn’t get in to the living room and had to move a quarter of the total boxes before even starting to unpack. That took hours. We would specially give directions where the labeled boxes needed to go and they would completely disregard both the writing on the boxes and our requests. Upon unwrapping several large framed pieces of artwork, we found many had shattered frames and we ultimately had to pay to have them replaced. Valuables that we’d taken extra care to wrap and mark as fragile were broken, as were lamps
