Great job by Deckmasters! We have had the deck for 2 years now and it still looks and feels brand new. High recommend giving Pat a call if you are in the market for a deck.

I guess the best I can say is that the job is done and the railing is secure. However for the price I paid I expected MUCH better craftsmanship and customer service. Although, initially he did come back twice to correct his poor workmanship ie: the plastic covering the spindles on the steps was not angled so they weren't secured (on multiple rungs). His answer was "I guess I wasn't paying enough attention", which at that point sent up a red flag. He NEVER came back to replace the part of the railing where the mitre cut was so off that I could have done better and the first thing I see when I walk out on my deck . See pictures below! I also want to add, that the ONLY time the owner of the company (who was my contact person) answered his phone was when he wanted my final payment. Otherwise

We just had a new railing and three post replaced on our front porch, had multiple boards on our deck replaced and a gate put on our deck by Deckmasters. Pat, the owner came out to inspect the job multiple times to make sure we were getting what we wanted. He also was came out to give us a bid right away and completed the job in a timely fashion. I would recommend Deck Masters for anyone needing a deck, railing or posts.

Deckmasters did a fabulous job on our new deck. From the planning stages to the finish structure, they demonstrated why their 50+ years of experience matters. We have a large tree that could have limited the size of the deck. Deckmasters developed a creative design that maintained the natural beauty of the back yard while blending the deck into the space. We as can’t say enough about the carpenters that did the work. We are enjoying the outdoor space more than ever because of our decision to trust Deckmasters with our project.

I recently had a deck installed on my new home by Deckmasters of Pittsburgh. We met the owner Pat at the spring home show and him give us an estimate. We also got estimates from several other contractors. Pat's estimate was on the lower side and we liked his design, so we decided to go with him. He put us on his schedule for three months out, which was fine with us. As the time drew closer we did have some challenges reaching him. Once we did connect, I shared my concerns about his communication and from that point on, he was quick to respond whenever I reached out. Fast forward to late September when it was time for the install. Pat and his team had all of the necessary permits in place and showed up on the day they promised. The install took about 7 working days and I was provided an u
