Thank you! We love our new door! Despite the wait time (2 months/across the holiday), the installation was quick once the door arrived. We were well over due (40 years) for a new storm door and Defense solved the problem! We couldn’t be happier! Thank you!

Our new security storm door looks great. Almost no cold air gets into the entryway. Highly customizable; can get pricey depending on the design and features - but it's a tiny fraction of what a house is worth. Estimator was prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful. Delivery - expected in about 6 weeks - took almost 6 months, but that apparently was because the worker who makes these doors at Defender's vendor was out for an extended period with a workplace injury. The installer arrived when expected, was pleasant, completed the job in three hours, cleaned up the debris, took away our old door. We've had the door for only a day, but very pleased so far. If I could give 0 stars I would. This company has done nothing but lie and give me the run around! The ONLY good thing was the guy who installed it. He was SUPER nice and helpful! I made the mistake of not thoroughly inspecting the door before paying because by the time I could look, they already had the person on the phone for the final payment. Like 15 min after the guy left I realized there was a crack on the glass and scratches all over my door… not what I expected for over $4k. When we agreed to use the company we were told 8-10 weeks because we have a VERY special order door. That was no problem. At week 12 I finally called and Pam said “it’s special order, they shouldn’t have told you 8-10weeks”. That’s all well and good, but they had and I had had NO contact to the contrary. So

We replaced a 26-year-old security door. When I first saw the finished installation, I thought the glass had been left out—but it was actually there, just so clear I couldn’t tell. I only wish we’d made this upgrade years ago.

Do not shop with them . The the doors are rusting and they do not honor their warranty. They will keep stalling . The installation was terrible as well
