Denmark home inspections (Dennis) completed a home inspection for my son & his fiance's house on Oct 29 ,2021 for an Oct 30, 2021 settlement. I was there the day of the inspection. Dennis seemed competent so we were glad to use him, HOWEVER, settlement was delayed a few weeks. When my son settled on the home (Dec 21) we went to the house and found water leaking from the garbage disposal after turning on the kitchen sink. Under further inspection we found several rusted cracks in the housing of the unit. This was obviously old damage and should have been found during the inspection. There was also damage to the floor of the cabinet under the sink again indicating old water damage. Dennis performed our inspection on our 3 year old house. He was extremely thorough and professional throughout the inspection.
