***One star for lack of follow-through and overall informality*** I have no option but to leave a negative review for Derby Door & Window. While we didn’t get a chance to ultimately work with Greg, the owner, he was quite informal and ultimately disappointing to deal with. From the day we reached out for help with our front door replacement project (a full arch, custom-made door), he only gave us excuses, delayed responses, and required multiple follow-ups just to come out and measure the door. After finally taking measurements, he promised to follow up with options but he never did and we had to chase him back numerous times with no response. Greg was Excellent! After Lowes dropped the ball on replacing my interior door for two months then told me it would take two months to get the proper door in, I contacted Derby Doors and Window, brought him my old door and he had a new door cut and ready to go the next day. After he then came to my house and installed real quick. 1000% recommend and a reminder to shop locally with local experience.

Someone broke into my home the other night through the glass insert of my patio door. Thankfully nothing was stolen but I needed to get the broken glass replaced right away. After a couple of calls to window repair companies, I was referred to Derby Door & Window. I call, Greg (owner) answered and with a few minutes I had a quote. He couldn't come over the same day because he had to order the glass so I said "wait" and I called a few other companies. 5 calls later, I had one higher quote (all via text) with a 5-7 day wait, left one voicemail (no return call) and 3 no answers. Greg showed up the next day on time and withing 2 hours the job was done, he cleaned-up the broken glass and was very professional about his work. If you need window or door work done, call Derby first.
