Devaney Energy

Was on automatic full ups for oil. The most they ever had to fill was 160 gallons (one time). Every other time has been no more than 135 gallons. This company clearly waited until they could charge $5.36 per gallon to fill up 192 gallons today. Not only is that the highest price North of Boston. It's also far and away the most they ever waited to fill my tank. I called and they offered to take $50 off the near $1050 fill up they gauged me for today. This company is too big to care about real people. I asked how much for service of my system and they tried to sell me some egregious monthly plan for over $200 per month. Absolute theifs. I recommend staying far away from Devaney if you are on any sort of a budget. They will try to rob you like they did me today.

After one of the most stressful weeks my family has ever experienced, Devaney Energy truly saved the day. For seven days in the middle of winter, with temperatures averaging around 20 degrees, my family and I were without heat and hot water after our previous propane company failed to deliver despite daily promises. By the time I called Devaney Energy, we were exhausted, freezing, and frankly out of options. They responded immediately. This morning at 9:00 a.m., Devaney Energy arrived with two new tanks and got our furnace and hot water back up and running. The relief was overwhelming. Dale, the tank installer, deserves special recognition. He was kind, calm, empathetic, and incredibly professional. He understood how serious the situation was and treated us with genuine care and respect

John serviced my furnace expertly, and was personable, professional, and incredibly helpful. I'm grateful for having Devaney as my energy company so I can have access to such prompt and courteous assistance. Would highly recommend.

I will not use or recommend Devaney ever again. I had devaney for automatic oil delivery for 3-4 years and I had a burner service package as well that whole time. This package was 400 dollars a year. I know that it’s my responsibility to schedule this service but after three years of never actually preforming any work do you think they reached out? Nope, just kept collecting the money. I also had them install a new furnace and hot water heater. It had two problems within the first year. It recently had another problem (third time within a year and a half of installation) which left my wife and baby in a house with no heat, in January. I called them and naturally they wouldn’t come because it was past the one year warranty they offer. After arguing with them on the phone they finally agreed

I just want to thank Deveny Energy for their excellent service. I live in Lexington, MA and you all know we have had some significant snowfall lately. We were out in Vermont when Deveny called informing us that they went to our house for delivery without success, because the tank was completely buried in deep snow. So, we made arrangement for another delivery the following Monday and agreed we would need to dig out the tank and shoveled a path first. And there was a huge storm coming Monday and we were very worried if the delivery could take place. When we got home late Sunday night. We were surprised to see that, they not only made the delivery Sunday (one day ahead of our appointment), and the driver, Jake Hubbell, went out of the way to dig the tank out from knee deep snow for us,
