Diamond Kote Siding System

We’ve lived in our house for 5 years (built in 2020) and used Diamond Kote due to its historically good reputation and quality. I will say we have experienced anything but good quality and customer service. We opened a claim in the summer of 2024 due to peeling and potential water damage to our siding. After almost a year of waiting to hear from the warranty department they have decided to provide us with some paint and a couple thousand dollars to correct this issue. We will NOT be accepting this and will be seeking legal action until this is issue is corrected properly. The fact that they even felt that was an acceptable proposition for people who spent their hard earned money on their product is ridiculous. My problem is not their products but their web site. I'm a contractor and I'm simply trying to find area dealers for this product. In the "Find a Dealer" area of their web site, you have to answer all of their BS questions, give them all of your contact information, and they still don't give you a list of their dealers. They say someone will contact me. How mis-leading. What a complete waste of my time of which I don't have much of. I've moved on. No time for their BS games.

I Have been installing Diamond Kote for 2 years now. There isnt any other product in the market today that even comes close to it The service from Patrick and Calvin are unmatched. We don't even install Hardie anymore and for the cost difference from LP to Diamond Kote is well worth the investment

Purchased this paint on LP Smartside a number of years ago and have been beyond disappointed. For a paint product that claims to be superior, it underperformed in every way possible. The paint in only a few years started to noticeably fade and has now faded so far, that the original Seal color we chose looks closer to the Sand color on our trim. It looks looks absolutely terrible. We would have had better luck buying vinyl siding than Smart siding with this paint. To make matters worse, when we sent our complaint to Diamond Kote, they refused the warranty because they said the siding was "chalking" and that their painted products need to be scrubbed and cleaned every 6-12 months as common maintenance. Diamond Kote has a quality control issue they refuse to address. I have purchased 2 jobs with the Elkhorn color and both jobs did not have the proper color on the trim/batt edges of the boards. What a disappointment that such a costly, high end product can't arrive to the job site complete!
