Dixieland Electric is by far the best electrical contractor in the whole greater New Orleans area! As a homeowner, I take pride in my home and I expect a certain amount of respect, and when I hire someone to come work on my home, I expect them to have a certain amount of pride in what they do as well. My father always taught me to take pride in everything I do. "Even if it's digging a ditch, be the best darn ditch digger there is!!", he would say, and that has always stuck with me. Dixieland not only takes pride in what they do, but they are respectful, courteous, honest, caring... I could go on and on. I not only appreciate these attributes, especially their honesty and respect, it makes me want to tell all of y'all about their A1 services, so here I am. It's true what they say about,

We recently built a house and had the pleasure of working with Dixieland. Our contractor said this was the only company he uses and we can see why. They are reliable and trustworthy. They always arrived to the job early, and when their work was done they cleaned everything. All the technicians were so friendly and gave honest opinions. Their work was precise and detail oriented. We would highly recommend this company.

The electrician installed a new recessed light/vent over the bathtub in my guest bathroom. He left a dime sized hole in the ceiling that was not there prior to the installation. He also left pencil marks on the ceiling and sheetrock dust in the bathtub where he drilled the hole for the light. I called Dixieland immediately after they left when I noticed the hole and the mess that the electrician left in the bathroom. I spoke to the receptionist and explained my complaint. She said that someone would contact me. I waited one week for someone to call me back, and no one returned my call. I called Dixieland a week later, and she told me that the electrician showed me the hole in the ceiling. He told her that I said that my husband would fix it and repaint the ceiling. This was a complete lie.

I recently had some outdoor outlets installed and couldn’t be more more pleased. Dixieland came out promptly and made sure that it was exactly what I wanted. They are all extremely professional and have a great reputation for being honest and providing quality work.

Both technicians arrived promptly. Jeff and Danny are experienced and professional. The work was performed efficiently . I was most impressed that parts, fixtures that were needed to complete the job were delivered to my home and installed right then and there! I would recommend highly.
