The job was suppose to include removal all old insulation and closure of gaps around the entire permiter (using tightly installed particle board and foam sealing). The first day the foreman did not get the correct work order and only inistalled the permiter seal without removing all insulation (and was rude when I asked why the removal did not take place). The work was the lowest quality I have ever experienced and took 3 - yes 3 - return trips (after my complaints) to finish the job to a reasonable standard. When they did remove the old insulation, they left pices over the floor and one section in the ceiling- no execuse for this. I recommend using a diff vendor as this group was equal parts rude and incompetent.

We have a slightly complicated attic in our ranch-style house, due to a couple of additions done over the years prior to our purchase. Most of the attic was an unfinished, low-ceiling space with soffit & ridge vents and fiberglass batts and vermiculite on the attic floor. We have an A/C air handler and ductwork in there too. I asked for an estimate that would be a "do it right the first time" type of deal. Dave and Amanda delivered a very thorough estimate, to implement a "hot roof" in which the rafters would be effectively extended downward with wood, covered completely in Intello (high-tech air and vapor barrier and insulation holder-backer), and filled with dense-packed cellulose insulation. We had to get a new roof and insulation since the moisture ventilation for the old roof didn’t work well. I have never been a fan of baffle vents due to my bad experience. Amanda and Dolphin Insulation proposed the Intello Plus vapor barrier insulation. Seems like the perfect solution. Working with Dolphin was a breeze. Their crew were excellent and the price was extremely reasonable. Thank you Dolphin and Amanda. PS: I will post an update every few years on how this is working out for me. After a month, the attic feels conditioned just like my home and our HVACS run very rarely!

I am extremely happy with the insulation project that Dolphin Insulation did at my home. Dave, Chris and Eric were extremely knowledgeable and were always willing to answer any questions that I had as a homeowner. They always cleaned up every evening before they left and I always felt very comfortable leaving the crew at my home. When they were done with the project I would have never known they were here!
