Douglas rebuilt the refrigeration part of my Sub Zero refrigerator. He was professional, on time, and charged exactly what he quoted. Only positive things to say about this fellow. I definitely recommend him.

Please don't use these guys. The technician who came out several weeks ago was nice and explained that they needed to order parts and when the parts came in they would schedule and come pick up my machine. Once the machine was picked up, it would take 2 or 3 days to repair and then they would reinstall. I called a few times to make sure it was gonna happen and eventually things didn't feel right. Finally today the guy called and said he wasn't gonna do the work because it was gonna take two weeks. I needed the machine in time for Thanksgiving and they knew that from the beginning. I would have been Ok with them telling me way back when that it wouldn't happen by Thanksgiving but they strung me along. We bought a 30 year old house with original Subzero refrigerator and freezer. The first problem was the ice maker then it was the sealer. We looked on Yelp and got someone who was supposed to be rated five stars. He not only was not able to fix the problem but spent three hours and charged us $175. I asked the local kitchen and cabinet store and they recommended Douglas Ray. What a difference! They were truly professional and knowledgeable! The technician was really courteous and able to diagnose the problems within minutes and fixed them within an hour! If you have Subzero appliances in the Raleigh Triangle area, they are the people you want to ask first to fix your problems! The lady I dealt with on the phone was prompt, helpful and courteous and a real pleasure to talk to!

I am presently providing a poor review only because their communication started off great in the beginning but dropped off significantly. When I first contacted them on June 3, 2022, they responded rather quickly and the technician was very knowledgable about what they do, so my confidence is not diminished there. My issue is within the broken communication with being advised that they had to order a part and would contact me to schedule an install date. I would told he may take 1-2 weeks at the most, so with shipping delayed everywhere, I waited for about three weeks to get an update call but never received one.
