I had an old fireplace with a built in metal firebox and inlet/outlet air vents that ran through the fireplace exiting just below the mantle on the face of the fireplace. The firebox had rusted out over the years so the fireplace could not be used. Larry Drew came to my rescue, he assessed the condition, explained the repair process and provided his cost to remove the old air vents, replace bricks that would match the existing bricks and prepare the old firebox to allow a new cast iron fire-box insert to restore the firebox to working condition.
