My dad is on home health care. He is in his final days he has Pancreatic Cancer. Duke Energy sent a bill saying he owed 667.44 we paid 500.00 dollars on it on Feb. 23 2025 then it said it had a remaining balance of 167.44 That must be paid by March 19th. Then a new bill arrived saying we had a late charge of 747.31 that had to be paid by March 19th. Different then what the remaining balance said after we paid the 500.00. I have currently paid 300.00 extra on it. Now it's saying we have a balance of 1, 018. 67 instead of going down it's going up. We can't afford that. He is in the hospital bc with machines off at home due to no power he has to be in a hospital we have a hospice nurse that comes everyday. I took out a loan to get his power back on and now they are saying that he has to call

So they weren’t doing anything for us today, but there was 3 work trucks at my neighbors house doing work over there. Not thinking anything of it, I let our corgi pup out to use the bathroom, and she did good until it was time to go in. She decided to sprint to the workers, and jumped up on (I’m assuming) on the boss/foreman looking over the job to get pet. He pet her then picked her up and gave her back. He wasn’t mad at all, he was understanding about it. I apologized like crazy but I just wanted to show my gratitude to him because I know their job is dangerous and they don’t need the distraction. I was in tears almost walking to get her because my pregnancy hormones are all over, and I felt terrible because she was being a distraction while he was supervising the workers in their lifts
