I am a new homeowner, and called the emergency number that was given on the automated message for new homeowners. Initially someone answered, I believe her name was Melissa, and I could tell I woke her up. I apologized but explained that my water was running and the water heater was making an extremely loud noise, though I hadn’t turned any water on. She said she would call the on call plumber, and he/she would give me a call back. I waited twenty minutes, then called her back and asked if I should expect a call tonight, because it was already 2am. She said yes, someone named Richard would call me back.
