Eddie's Tree Service

We hired Cory and Toby from Eddie's Tree Service to trim the massive walnut tree which we hoped would disrupt the squirrel highway between the ground and our roof. They were extremely knowledgeable about trees and trimming, and in addition reliable, reasonably priced, and set clear expectations for us about what the job would include. This was a small job that they scheduled in the midst of larger jobs, and they fit us in quickly. They left the tree looking graceful rather than hacked back. They were respectful to our neighbor (who owns the tree in question) and helped us continue our good relations. Overall, highly recommended!

If you are in the general area of Arlington (I'm in Lexington) and need tree work I don't think you need to look any further than these guys. They do a fabulous job, are super easy to work with for getting quotes, scheduling, communication on the day of the work, follow up, etc., give you good advice on what to do about your tree issues, and their prices are very reasonable. Not too often that you pay thousands of dollars and feel good about it. Recommend highly.

We retuned from vacation in July to find an 8" x 30' ash tree had fallen in our back yard, narrowly missing the house and lying across one of our favorite flowering bushes. What to do? After reading so many positive reviews on Eddie's, I placed a call and got a text back quickly. Toby said he could come on Saturday and give an estimate. He came when he said, and offered to remove the tree the next day even though light rain was scheduled, for a reasonable price. Sure enough, after texting to confirm Sunday AM, he arrived when he said and got right to work. The rain came and he got wet but kept on going. The lack of noise outside was just great. I'm sure our neighbors appreciated how he used a small battery saw for limb removal and confined his chain saw to the trunk of the tree.

There truly are not sufficient words to say how happy we were with the work done by Cory and Toby from Eddie's Tree Service. We needed experts in manual tree work because of some difficult tree removal and pruning work that couldn't be reached by machinery, and we were absolutely blown away by how professional, efficient, skilled, and most of all thoughtful the team was. They not only did a tremendous job of all the pruning, removal, and cleanup, they also gave terrific advice about what needed to be done, and clearly are people who care deeply about trees and their health. In the end their rate was exceptionally competitive with all other offers. It was a complete pleasured working with the team and we will be calling them again without a question anytime we need more tree work. Thank you

From our very first contact, Eddie was responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We live in a three-family house with a self-managed association. Behind the house, our parking lot was overrun with trees that haven't been maintained in years. When Eddie came out to give us a quote, he quickly identified the species worth saving, and explained his plan to clean up the space while saving as much greenery as possible. It was immediately clear Eddie is passionate about trees. The day of the work, Eddie and his crew were quick and efficient, and left the parking lot absolutely spotless. The trees left behind all look healthier and happier, and it's amazing how his careful work transformed the space. Best of all, he was able to save a beautiful native elm that was being crowded out for years.
