As an owner of a Victorian home, I am patricular in who I allow to work on my house, espically when handling my cherished antiques - such as the pan light I needed installed in my back stairwell. Troy's extensive knowledge of historic homes and their unique wiring challenges put me at ease. He ensured my antique light was hung with percision and care. Overall, I cannot recommend EDS enough. We had issues with our breakers we couldn't figure out, one of which was affecting our furnace. Of course this happened on a day when the night temp was about to plummet back down after a couple of really warm evenings, meaning us and our pets wouldn't have heat. Troy answered my husband's call and came over soon after. He knew exactly what the issue was as soon as he laid eyes on it and was able to get us up and going within about a half hour and have another electrician come in the morning to replace the part. Kevin came bright and early and had the job done within a half hour. They were both fantastic and the bill was reasonable. After learning there was no power going to the water heater, Kevin came out right away to take a look. Power was leaving the panel, but somewhere along the line, it was disrupted and not getting to the water heater. Unsure of how or why the house was wired in such weird way, it was decided to re-wire with a more direct connection--- only to find out the panel was totally mis-labeled and the breaker actually DID trip, we just weren't looking in the right place. Gotta love older houses. Quick and easy fix -- that required some critical thinking/problem solving and HONESTY. I will always call EDS for all of my electrical problems/upgrades/etc and highly recommend them to everyone I know!
