Elm Street Parking Garage

Parked at the Elm Street Garage while catching the Cuttyhunk Ferry and it was a great experience. The garage was clean, safe, and well-lit, and located just a short, convenient walk to the ferry terminal and waterfront. Rates were reasonable, and paying was easy with kiosks that accept both card and cash. Everything felt well-managed and secure. Perfect spot for ferry travelers or anyone visiting downtown New Bedford. Would definitely use this garage again!

As others write, this is a structure that provides parking. There's not much more to say. It's strange for a posted sign to say $18 all day parking, but I was there from 8:30 to 4:30 and it cost $12. However, the payment machine (and only one working machine in the entire garage) wasn't working so I paid nothing.

I love doing business with the folks at Elm Street Parking garage. Every time I have had to call with a question, they actually have HUMANS who answer the phone and assist in a really timely, efficient and pleasant manner. Three years now, and I'm still so happy every time I've had any interaction with the people who work in the office.

This is a parking garage. How do I rate it? No bathrooms. No movie rentals included. No massage with purchase. Seriously... it is fine. Easier than hunting for street parking, and not terribly expensive for time to walk around this historic downtown.

This garage in New Bedford is centrally located to all the awesome sites! Many of the attractions are within blocks of this garage and unlike most garages, this one is clean and in a safe neighborhood. Parking enforcement has an office in the ground level, so that is nice too. The only thing that was strange for me is when you arrive you get a ticket from the automatic dispensing machine. When you go to leave, you have to take that ticket, go to the lobby of the garage, go to the kiosk, feed your ticket into the kiosk, pay for your parking and then you get another ticket that lets you leave the parking garage. That was a bit strange but for the really great rate of $3.00 per hour or $18.00 all day, it was worth it. Just fyi, there are plenty of parking spaces available at the street at m
