Emerald Lawn Care

I scheduled an appointment with Emerald Lawn Care to get a quote for lawn services. Their sales representative no-call, no-showed twice. I can understand missing the first appointment, things happen. However, missing a second scheduled appointment without any call, text, or follow-up is extremely unprofessional. My time is valuable, and basic communication should be the bare minimum when working with potential customers. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend their service.

Updated my previous review (5 stars) to a 1-star review. Long story short: Avoid this company. First of all, the product and the people applying it are not certified. They burned my grass because the technician applied too strong a concentration of crabgrass killer, which also damaged other plants I have—grapevines and raspberry bushes. Their service manager came to inspect the lawn and claimed the issue wasn’t due to the chemicals, but rather that the problem was caused by my mower tractor—even though the blades are sharpened every spring. Very disappointed and very unprofessional. When I asked for their business insurance information, they refused to provide it. Emerald Lawn Care has been a source of immense satisfaction for us. This is my second time posting about their services, and we’ve been consistently impressed by their responsiveness and attentiveness to our needs. For instance, after we mentioned the weeds in our backyard, they’ve diligently worked with us to manage them and set a schedule for rebuilding a weed-free lawn. Eric, the lawn care technician, is exceptionally attentive while performing liquid aeration and reseeding. His extensive knowledge and expertise in lawn care truly impressed us. We’re thoroughly delighted with their exceptional service throughout.

Matthew O. Stopped by for today’s treatment and he continues Emerald Lawn Care’s tradition of superior customer service. He rang the doorbell to let me know he was here, he provided me with an overview of the day’s treatment and watering-in needs I would do on my end, and he completed the service in timely manner. Please note that he also closed and properly secured the tractor gate to the yard. While many people could ride a product spreader in your yard, you would be hard-pressed to find someone as genial and respectful a gentleman as you find in Matthew O. Matthew excels in demeanor, poise, polish, and professionalism. He’s definitely a GEM on the Emerald Lawncare team. I recently switched to Emerald and finally after weed control. After using a different company for 7 years I finally have a green lawn with NO weeds! Humberto and Jason have both been great!
