Had a terrible experience. Called to get locks rekeyed at my house including my locking mailbox and then 2 doors. First instead of rekeying the locks the technician changed out all of the hardware to cheaper crappier hardware which looked different from what I had on all other doors and didn't work as well. It was also a different key, I had asked for them to match an existing key so they would all be the same. Then when I asked for him to please make them the same hardware as what I had, he charged me an additional $100 to do so. And I still ended up with different keys because he never actually rekeyed anything, he just installed brand new hardware which is something I could have done myself and not at all what I asked for when he get here. Fast and friendly service. Great prices as well. Update:8/1/22 had a friend of mine call since I had great service the last time I used them, but this time was horrible. The guy that came out to help her was rude and loud. I didn't realize that he was even the technician at first because of the way he was speaking to my friend. He told her a very high price she said that was way to much so he says when I get there maybe we can work something out. What kind of service is that. The company is great this technician was a complete Moran and out of line with the way he speaks to customers.

This is the second time I have used their services. They have great communication. They respond by phone and in person quickly. They have excellent prices and they even recommended a place where we were able to get the car part we needed at half the price we thought we were going to have to pay. I HIGHLY recommend Emerald Locksmith.

Max was so great and helped us program our key fob! when it didn't open the back hatch he helped me figure out what was right to by and then helped me program that one as well! I am a happy customer!

I hired them to program a spare car key that I owned. The technician called and explained it is $29 to visit and quote the job, and then $85 and up for programming. The technician arrived, checked out the job, and quoted $279 to program it. After trying for 30 minutes they failed to program it and attempted to charge me $29 plus $179 for trying. I agreed only to $29 so the technician said they would try again to program it. When I handed him the key to program he took it and drove off. I later found out that my other working key programming was broken by the technician. I can't drive my car anymore as a result. There is an open police investigation for theft and property destruction. The company will not reply to any of my attempts to contact them! I cannot recommend their services. Call Z
