I own a historic building and have used Empire Carpentry for more than 12 years for complicated projects involving exterior brick stabilization, bathroom and kitchen remodels, window repair, wood floor refinishing, plaster restoration, and just about everything in between. Owner Kevin Murray is great to work with. He has vision and creativity that is informed by an impressive amount of knowledge and experience working with historic structures. Project Managers Terry and Rick are super responsive and skilled, and have exceptional attention to detail, which is very important to me. I would absolutely recommend Empire Carpentry, without hesitation!
Overprice. Dishonest. Marginal workmanship. Much better choices available in town. He's done work on both of my commercial properties and is now banned from any further contact bids.
Very scared of Kevin. I would never want to be alone with this guy... He lies he tried cheating me out of my money.waisted my time.
For historic mill-work and log construction, Kevin is my go to.
