Empire Fuel

Does anyone know if it’s normal or their usual procedure to have a 2 day wait to get a fuel oil delivery? I called and emailed them bf 8 am that I am under a 1/4 tank. They said I could pay to get a 100 gallon emergency delivery of over $350, if I wanted it by tomorrow. I told them I couldn’t do that as they know I am a Heap customer. I know that it’s colder now that it’s Dec 1st but back on October 28, ‘25, I spoke to Dan and they came within 1 day which I really appreciated. Sorry, if this situation didn’t seem to be motivated with DSS’ questionable interference, which, unfortunately has certainly happened w other companies before, I’d have gladly given “more than a 1 star review” but under the circumstances I can’t. Horrible company! do not use them! My mom has been a loyal customer for years, but after today we’ll make sure she never uses them again. A technician came out for her yearly tune-up on the heating system. He was in the house for about 10 minutes, then called me over and said, “everything is pristine clean” and that my mom needs a new oil tank. That was it. She was charged over $200 for someone to tell her everything looked fine and then leave. When I called customer service to express concern, I was told the technician claimed he was here for 30 minutes and “did everything that needed to be done.” The representative also added that he “didn’t have to vacuum or sweep the inside since everything looked clean.” Isn’t part of the job to actually service the system regardless of how it look

I had ordered oil from them a several times. This most recent time, I came home to find there was no delivery of oil. I called and spoke with Dan who asked me if I was sure, yes of course I’m sure my oil tank has not been filled. He assured me he would look into it and call me the next day. He never called so I called the next day about my delivery. One of the workers Tori spoke with me and said your oil was delivered and your card was charged. I told her my oil was not delivered. I have no receipt, her reply was well maybe it’s in his pocket. I told her I think you guys delivered to the house across the street. She said no we have the description of your house. After several calls later and having my husband go down to restart the gauge, they still claim they delivered the oil and were go

Dan and Olivia are some of the worst owners/customer service providers i have ever encountered. If you value your money, your time and yourself, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!

I cant say enough about how nice they are and how understanding😎😎😎 very nice drivers I think his name was Mike.
