I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service I received from Empire regarding the replacement of my kitchen floor. The installation initially appeared fine; however, after mopping the floor for the first time, the surface began to bubble and warp. I contacted Empire’s customer support and was instructed to send photos of the issue, which I did promptly. After submitting the photos, I did not receive any follow‑up communication for several days. When I called again, I was told I would receive a call within a day, which did not occur. Eventually, when I was finally able to speak with someone, I was informed that the damage would not be covered under my warranty and that I would need to pay out of pocket for repairs. Absolutely wonderful experience from sales rep to installers. Beautiful job. Installers knew what they were doing. They came at 8:15 and left at 6:30. Cleaned up all areas. So friendly and respectful. Would recommend them for your job. Fair price and fantastic work!

We have used Empire Today on 2 previous occasions. 1st job was good. 2nd job was poor. We thought we would give Empire today one more chance, even though my instinct was to hire another company. While we were satisfied with our sales rep, the rest of our experience was not so good. The crew spoke very little English so communication with crew was frustrating over the 2 days it took them to install flooring in our home. The 1st day of installation, the crew did not show up until approximately 10am and left our house at approximately 9:30pm, so it was a very long day. Instead of doing all of their laminate cutting in our garage that we made available to the installers, the installers took it upon themselves to do most of their cutting in the office on our main floor, so we have a trem

With the amount of money we spent you would think the flooring would be installed by professionals. We had our entire first floor ripped out and replaced it with laminate flooring. We have scratches, bad cuts where the baseboards don’t even cover the flooring and absolutely horrible finish work on the quarter round install. Not to mention they don't finish the job with caulk. I reached out to my sales person multiple times and I really don’t think he cared about anything but the sale. Also, they spent 10 hours a day at our home for 5 days. We had to push off our carpet install a week because it took so long. I am going to be escalating this with Empire because this is completely unacceptable. I have to mention the cardboard quarter round they used was such a joke.

Hannah was amazing to work with! Knowledgeable about style and features of the flooring, of course, but also insightful about how the room would be used and what type of wear and tear we needed to accommodate. (i.e. “cats and their claws do *not* do well with Berber carpet”!) THANK YOU!
