Jeremiah came to our house and spent some hours with us thoroughly covering myriad details concerning replacing the existing old wall-to-wall carpet throughout the house with hard flooring. The first part involved measuring all the rooms, stairs, and hallway and then afterwards showing us quite a number of samples of the laminate flooring we are interested in. I found him quite knowledgeable concerning not only about the flooring material itself but also other aspects concerning the floor structure underneath the nice parts we see every day. Plus I learned that before the flooring work itself is started I'll need to have installed a fireplace hearth which for some reason should have already been present from whenever the fireplace was installed years ago. Two maybe three at the most years ago we had empire come in and do the flooring in our kitchen, spare bathroom and laundry room In the kitchen, there is a gap starting to form and the rubber base molding that they put on is starting to come unglued Which I re-glued myself. You figure you could have some flooring done. It would last you more than just a couple of years before you had to think about doing something different. I’m starting to regret the decision that I made by using them to do the flooring in our kitchen, laundry room, and spare bathroom.

Jeremiah was our agent and he ROCKED!! He helped us pick out colors and styles that worked well in our space, made sure to get us the best deal for the project we had, and answered all the questions we had in anticipation for redoing all of our floors. We had laminate added to the kitchen and dining room, and had all the rest done in carpet. Price was quite reasonable for all the work they are doing. Jeremiah especially was great about explaining the whole process. Thank you Empire and we’ll be excited to see the finished product when they come to install in 2 weeks!

Came in and tore up our floors and then told us it would be $4k more up front for the repairs we needed. They left 2 foot deep holes in our floors. I could not recommend anyone less.
