I recently used Empire Tree Services to cut down 5 large trees that have been planted since the early 1980’s. Four of the trees were cut down neatly, however, the biggest tree that was cut down was not. The mulch was not spread out, it was heaped up and by a second opinion landscaping company, it will take years for the mulch to settle; I am very displeased. The owner Rodney isn’t the best communicator. The company also threw my bushes in the woods that they initially forgot to remove. I had to call the owner Rodney about this. I requested a refund of the removal fee, because who wants to pay for bushes that are visible in the woods once they have paid to have them hauled away? I was pleased with the other four trees, I just don’t recommend this company for big projects.

The entire Empire team did such an amazing job. Not only were they extremely professional, but they were quick as well. They wasted no time and took great care of the area. Their equipment was amazing to watch at work. There was no excess debris or anything falling on yards. Any small twigs that fell down were cleaned up. Rodney was especially helpful when it came to explaining the process and answered any questions I had, really putting me at ease. He really did want to do all he could to help out because he knew how nervous I was about the tree falling on my roof.
