Envirotech removed and oil tank and did the remediation work due to it leaking. This was very expensive, but needed to be done. They were very good at keeping me informed throughout the process and educating me on what was taking place. Todd was very good in updating me on site work and any developments taking place. Karen, in the office was very nice to talk to and at providing comfort due to the cost, she was even apologetic. I would highly recommend Envirotech for oil tank removal. They were fair with me regarding charges.

Ron is extremely knowledgeable about the business of environmental waste, working with the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and how to deal with insurance companies. Thanks to his help, we were able to clean up the mess from the leak in my oil tank to the satisfaction of the state without having to dig up my basement. Also, Karen in the office is a sweetheart and a pleasure to work with.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Recently we were closing on a house and requested a ground scan for an oil tank. We took on the $600 cost. The representative who came out to scan from Envirotech was extremely vague and misleading. He had the owner of the house dig up on his hands & knees soil samples which were not official. Then, they scared us into paying an extra $125 more and waiting another week for these soil results which were WRONG. They were supposedly contaminated and were to be reported to the state. Another respected company completed a thorough scan to confirm there was no oil tank present and their soil samples were completed by proper method and there was no soil contamination. This was a waste of $1500 and 2 weeks of stress while closing on a house that was completely

STAY AWAY FROM THE PLACE!!!! You dont have to take my word for it. Just google "Newtown Family May Be Victims Of 'Highly Unusual' Environmental Scam" and read the Newtown Bee paper. I wish I had before signing up! I would give this company Zero stars if at all possible. I had to get an oil tank removed from my house. I was quoted $1250 plus the cost of a Vac Truck if needed of $400 and $1.05 per gallon of removal of oil. Therefore it would be $1250 if Tank is found to empty. I placed the $900 down at signing. Got charged for that. The Excavator came, and dug up the Oil Tank. I was personally there during the whole process. There was no Oil in the tank at all. No need for VAC truck, and None came. I personal saw the oil tank and even spoke with the person removing it at that time who
