ESP Exterior Specialities of PA

NO STARS. We bought a new home 5 years ago and Exterior Specialties of PA was the roofing contractor. We hired an independent home inspector right after settlement (Because Kay Builders is a terrible builder), and found the roof had so many issues that they suggested a complete redo. Giving ESP the benefit of the doubt, we allowed them to come out and fix all of the nail pops, exposed nails, and torn shingles. Fast forward five years and we have a giant section of the shingles tear off in a recent storm. I reached out to Sanchez Construction to help out and they suggested the roof needs replaced. The exposed nails are rusting throughout, and the shingles are popping all over the roof. The singles are also extremely brittle. DO NOT WALK, RUN AWAY FROM ANY HOME THAT USED ESP TO INSTALL A R

Terrible experience setting up an appointment. Hard to reach and takes a very long time to setup a time. When I finally got an appointment scheduled, nobody showed up. This happened twice and still waiting for follow up.

These business in completely unreliable, waiting over 6 months for them to address a missing piece of siding that was warranted by them and the builder, still not action or repsonse.

Avoid all homes with an ESP roof. Have had issues since day 1. Non responsive company and will not rectify the issues. Now we have significant mold issues and will require a complete redo on an 8 year old house. Issues were shingles not even secured down. Shingles which did not overlap the nail holes, and just overall poor craftsmanship.

ESP did the initial install of my new construction. Five years later, I have a leak. Fair enough. Things happen. Upon contacting them I was advised that I was out of the one year warranty and outside their service area and this was basically a "so sad too bad" situation. I asked if they would look at the leak for a charge and was told they couldn't help me because their service area had changed. Did it bother than that their installation quality was suspect after 5 years. Not one bit. I've since had two other companies come to take a look at the issue. One wanted to replace the entire roof because the installation issues were severe and systemic. And the other wanted to charge 4 grand to attempt to repair the issues.
