Eylander Electric

I had these guys come out in December 2015 and install a 50 amp RV receptacle and sub panel for my RV. I spoke with John and he informed me over the phone that it would be $800.00. I thought great, sounds good. They came out later in the week and preformed the work. They did a great job with everything. My credit card was charged for the agreed upon amount of $800.00. Mid March 2016 I get a bill from them for an additional $300+ in labor and supplies. Not cool.

We lost power to our living room last week. We called John at Eylander Electric and he sent out Ghrig Anderson and Spenser who showed up after about 45 minutes of talking to John. Then within about an hour from arrival the problem was permanently fixed. The patiently went along to see which outlet was the problem and accomplished the goal; electricity to the front room. They were professional and pleasant. I will not call any other electric company except Eylander Electric from here forward. They have a A+ rating with Better Business and they have been in business for 68 years in the Everett area. We love them!

Review of Eylander Electric The service for which Eylander was hired was a very simple one for a home – patch up a nicked wire, and install a new outlet on our front porch. After two visits by their electrician and five visits by the rather rude supervisor, and a visit to their business to talk with the owner... the new outlet still does not work. The supervisor is also refusing to come back out to our house to complete the job. They charged $600 for this disservice, $100 of which the supervisor dodged answering for in the invoice – overcharge!! Personalities of the supervisor and owner are disgraceful. In our experience, Jim Eylander (the owner) and John Eylander (his son, the supervisor) are clearly 'classic' males – thinking that women can have no brains, and that customers do not kn

Eylander Electric was the only local place I could find with the expertise and willingness to work on our old oil furnace with a gas conversion unit. I'd tried to source a replacement gas valve online with no luck. They were able to find a replacement part and installed it in a timely manner at a fair price. Everyone I dealt with at Eylander was helpful and polite.

Very odd company with many issues, I wouldn't recommend them, and I've used them a couple times. E.G. everywhere on their website they have "call us" numbers listed, but when you call them, the VM says "text only". But when you text them, the number comes back as invalid. Over the last couple years they have been very hard to get a hold of and will not return calls or emails. Also if you do get a hold of them, the scheduling person is not very nice.
