We purchased two Toto toilets and two Toto heated toilet seats/bidets. We are doing a new construction and the construction project was delayed - as happens almost always - so the purchases were sitting at our house and then at the construction site, in a protected and covered location, unopened for several months. When they were finally opened to be installed, one Toto toilet tank was cracked and the box had dried leaves in it, and the one Toto bidet had two parts missing. It was clear to us that what we bought as brand new, were actually returns. Someone returned them and the boxes were never opened to check the condition, and then resold as new. We needed a hose to connect the dishwasher/disposal to the outflow hose. Ferguson Needham is supposed to be open until 11 am on Saturday. We got there around 10 am but the place was locked up despite supposedly open and all the lights were on. Waste of our time.

Stores with sales reps should advise on basic criteria to ensure you receive the proper products. And when they don't, the store should cover returns costs to do so. We spoke to a sales rep in the showroom to purchase toilets for our home... Later after getting a plumber to install them, we come to find out that the rough-in distance for one of the bathrooms is 10in instead of 12in. Turns out this is the one basic measurement that clearly someone selling a toilet would want to confirm before selling a toilet. Return/exchange costs were not covered.

I worked with Jason through our home design. there was lots of choices available, almost overwhelming.
