Fields is the warranty repair for Whirlpool. I scheduled warranty service for an issue where the French Door seal gasket is broken due to the doors not closing properly. This was caused I believe due to poor delivery setup and the French doors not aligned properly when installed. The Fields Service technician said that this was a cosmetic issue and only covered for 30 days. Lol, I argued that a door seal isn’t cosmetic, the seal has a purpose to keep the cold air in the refrigerator. The Fields Service Tech totally ignored my request and closed the ticket. I spent $5000. on this KitchenAid refrigerator- DON’T call Fields! They send inexperienced techs that don’t have clue.
So far after reading a lot of reviews of this company….we bought a whirlpool side by side refrigerator at Lowe’s..after a month is not cooling or making ice $450 waste on food .. Whoever is under whirlpool warranty manufacture…they send Fields Appliance Service …the technician arrive early on time Which is good .. He diagnosed is that the sensor need to be replaced they will Order it and come back next week to install it This diagnosis was made by eye … Not taking parts out ..or pulling the refrigerator to check on back ……Whirlpool say they work with the best !!! Let’s hope this is the problem and to be install next week .. On my side …Whirlpool never again I’m a fan of Samsung and LG I bought whirlpool because the house that I bought came with appliances like the stove , dishwasher and mi
I have a brand new Lowe's purchased Whirlpool side-by-side fridge that failed on Week 3 and brought all my food to 60 degrees (a full fridge, right before the hurricane). After 'rebooting' it, it was fine for a while and I bought a thermometer to keep in there to make sure it didn't happen again. Then it did - about 20 more times, making me have to throw the breaker to reboot every time. Since it didn't happen when the tech was here, it's been part replacement guess work and it takes 2 months to get parts. The tech in my area has been great, but he's hamstrung by his company and parts availability. Now, it's empty again because we hit 52 degrees has been at 47 degrees for almost 12 hours. Now I find out that the part is in (no notification), they don't have emergency scheduling, it's
Fields Appliance Service has been taking care of my KitchenAid appliances across two counties for over 20 years. I have never had anything but completely positive interactions with them. From my dishwasher to my refrigerator to my cooktop to now my double oven they have been excellent. When I noticed their name is now Flamingo, I was a little concerned that that might fall by the wayside. Never fear, Flamingo is just as exceptional as Fields always was. I had a dreadful thing happen with my double oven: I decided to use the self clean and the bottom oven overheated and blew out the glass. The glass was replaced by Flamingo but I called a local company for the oven repair because I thought Flamingo‘s estimate was too high. But the local company was out here six or seven times and I spent qu
Seems like I am not alone in rating this company poorly. My whirlpool oven within one year of purchase had the handle loosen to the point where it completely detached on one side and shortly thereafter one of the glass walls shattered. Since it was still under warranty, my wife called and was referred to this excuse of a company. It's been close to 2 months now and they still have not repaired it. At first someone came out and did an assessment and supposedly ordered the parts at that time. About a week later another technician came out and began repairing the oven door but as he was about to finish, he realized that a top bracket was not ordered. So again, supposedly he ordered it at that time. After a couple of weeks and not hearing any updates from the company, I called and spoke to som
