Fisher Sand & Gravel

I hope the driver of the cement truck is doing good. The one that avoided injuries with his quick thinking. I pray you guys at fishers have compassion on his part. I do not know the story, nor did I see it, just heard bits and pieces. Something about a red car pulled out in front of your cement fully loaded cement truck. Thank God no one was hurt, and terribly sorry about your equipment. That man put his job and life on the line to avoid potential damage that may of been irreversible. As a parent I thank him. A sacrifice on his part should not be overlooked. If he was at any fault of any extent; regardless, no injuries thankfully, I believe he did the correct thing. Thank you.

I started a project and was in way over my head. I ordered 10 yards of concrete to pour a patio. Dave Ratajcak was our delivery driver for the truck when he showed up he asked where our help was. I told him it was my wife and I doing the work and he kind of chuckled and said we probably 5 guys short I laughed with him and told him we would figure it out. Once we started the pour we were immediately overwhelmed. Dave noticed we were pretty green and started giving us pointers before we knew it Dave was in there with us spreading concrete with us making sure we would succeed. Dave went above and beyond what I would expect anyone to do, much less a stranger. I asked him what I could give him to show appreciation for what he did because without his help we would not have finished the job. All

Professional response, and appreciate their follow-up with Fisher Transportation.** Every time I see one of their trucks on the road, the driver is going far too fast, not yielding, or driving the center line in the opposing direction. People surely do not appreciate the gravel being flung at them as you drive by at 65 on M-20, or receive rock chips and when we have no where to go and you are in the divide as we approach. Always heard great things about their product and service, but they simply need to slow down.
