Fitz's Fish Ponds

Selected 3 koi recently through the fitz website but two of them were not supposed to be on the website post purchase. Kyle reached out and let me know we could refund or exchange fish and even allowed leeway for the misunderstanding. I ended up with 3- my original pick of a goshiki, a replacement sanke, and a ginga. Fish arrived the next day in great condition with vibrate colors and not too stressed from moving (thankfully!) Their colors are truly out of this world vibrant. No missing scales or issues thus far. Very pleased with my purchase and hope to get my hands on some more in the future. Beautiful fish. Excited to see them in the main pond post quarantine. P.s. Kyle- you really do have exceptional customer service. Thanks again.

Wonderful experience, will definitely be back to stock my freshwater tank, glad to find this gem of a shop! TLDR; Howard helped me out with plant recommendations, super knowledgeable about what he's selling you, also was awesome at answering a lot of my questions as a first time hobbyist. Very thorough about aquascaping, highly recommend visiting for advice. Lovely and neat shop with beautiful tanks, healthy fish. Am so glad there's a local independent shop to buy from!!

Hard to find a shop in NJ or the tri-state as passionate about aquascaping as FFP. I walked in expecting a pond store and found an incredible selection of healthy plants, hardscape, and fish. Howard was super friendly and knowledgeable. If you are an experienced aquascaper or looking to get into the hobby, this is the spot to go!

This place is a hidden gem - a haven for aquascapers and planted tank enthusiasts tucked away in North Jersey. Wide selection of high quality and healthy aquatic plants including Tropica pots and tissue cultures, tons of hardscape and typically a nice variety of shrimp and nano fish. The attention to detail and keeping the plants healthy for sale is just outstanding; they keep crypts and Anubias and terrarium plants in high humidity tanks (helps with aquatic growth transition). They have like 4-5 display tanks up, many with submerged grown plants available for sale as well. Hobbyist run, staff is super helpful and Howard is the man.
