Fossilized Reef View

Perfect Walk from Crandon Park, it has its own demarked trail & the dock! Better to walk in groups or with company, it could be very lonely or in risk to meeting an aligator.

Beautiful Florida trail, walk through a nice trail then mangroves to a great overlook at the fossil bay.

One of two fossilized reefs in the world. Good place to snorkel, shallow water, plenty of tropical fish, even a nurse shark lurking around.

This a beautiful trail, relatively untouched. In our 40 min of hiking we only passed 2 people. However if you take this trail you will end up on a lookout point that is high and fenced off and you cannot get down to access the fossilized reef to look at it or walk on it. The lookout point is lovely. Moral of the story- good hike, but you can’t access the reef which is disappointing.
