Fourth & Madison Garage

The pros: after hours downtown parking that's only $7. We parked from 6 - 10.30p, Fri night. The big cons: you have to find a phone number on the ticket machine that's on the driveway entrance to the garage to call for entry after hours. Then you need to get a human being to open the front doors to an office building that's clearly shut down for the night. Even after calling, we just luckily ran into a staff person outside who could let us in but unclear that this is a scenario you can count on. So if you're willing to cope with the anxiety of finding a human being to actually get your car back (even though posted hours says the garage is open until midnight), yes, it was $7 downtown parking on a Friday night. Thank you to the kind person who did let us in.

So secure not even YOU can get back in! No pedestrian re-entry that I could find, circled the building four times, tried every door.. ended up calling the number on the ticket to get let back into the garage via the drive-in entrance..

Parked, found every single exit from the building to be locked, meaning the only way out was to drive back out and get charged 7 bucks for being unlawfully imprisoned for ten minutes. I have never been more sickened by a complete lack of ANY service. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Who was there late on Wednesday, February 6th? He was the kindest man and really took care of us. Give this man a raise!! I will ALWAYS park there when I'm in the area again. He was amazing!! Thank you so much!!

The lot hours were not posted on the entrance that we took and it closed at 7 PM on a Saturday. We were not aware of this until when we attempted to retrieve our vehicle at around 9 pm. On the plus side, our vehicle has never been more secure. We eventually did get our vehicle and only had to pay $8! We won't be parking here again.
